TeamSnap

We use the TeamSnap service to schedule practices and other event and to transmit announcements. Most functions are available on mobile devices and through a web interface here: https://go.teamsnap.com/4085401/home

We use it for:

  • Tracking who is coming to practices and events, especially when there are maximum or minimum numbers who can participate. TeamSnap tracks the signup order so those who sign up after the event is full will know that the are automatically on a waiting list.
  • Notifying paddlers if an event is canceled or changed in any way.
  • Posting updated policies and procedures.
  • Sharing news about race results and coaching notes.

All active paddlers should make sure they are on TeamSnap and have the app loaded on their mobile devices to receive alerts and other updates. If you have any problems or questions, ask them at practice or contact info@steelcitydragons.org.

Event planning

Use our event planning template to submit details needed to post an event.

We plan events for recruiting, fundraising, volunteerism, and fun. We welcome any teammate to take the lead on suggesting and planning events. The planning template will help you identify the details that need to be planned and convey them to the team leadership for event scheduling and announcements.
