Our mixed (male and female) racing crew is open to all adults (ages 18 and over). We practice three times a week in preparation for several out-of-town races.
This team has its origins in the original Steel City Dragons crew that started paddling in 2002 at the first Pittsburgh Dragon Boat Festival. In the years since, this team has achieved a number of competitive milestones, including setting the 500-meter course record on the Schuylkill river in Philadelphia and supplying top paddlers to Team USA in international competition.
